About the Role
We’re looking for a Customer Success Specialist who blends strong accounting knowledge with client-facing confidence.
In this role, you’ll support customers, lead product demos, and drive retention and revenue expansion through onboarding and upselling. You’ll work closely with customer success, sales, and product teams to ensure clients get maximum value from the platform.
This is a great fit for someone who is proactive, commercially minded, and comfortable balancing support, consulting, and light sales in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and resolve customer support tickets while maintaining high SLA performance
- Analyze accounting scenarios (fixed assets, depreciation, leases) to troubleshoot issues
- Deliver product demos to warm leads and help convert trials into paying customers
- Identify and drive upsell opportunities (e.g., lease modules)
- Onboard and train new clients, including accounting firms and resellers
- Host webinars for product education and feature deep dives
- Support reseller enablement through training and ongoing guidance
- Investigate discrepancies in financial reports, journals, and integrations
- Collaborate cross-functionally to improve product and customer experience
- Contribute to retention, expansion, and churn reduction initiatives
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, customer success, or fintech SaaS
- Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals (GL, debits/credits, journals)
- Experience with fixed assets, depreciation, and/or lease accounting
- Familiarity with accounting tools (e.g., Xero, Sage) and SaaS platforms
- Ability to analyze financial data and troubleshoot discrepancies
- Excellent English communication skills (client-facing, U.S. customers)
- Experience working remotely or in distributed teams
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and a commercial mindset
Nice to Have
- Experience with fixed asset or lease accounting software
- Exposure to U.S. GAAP / IRS regulations
- Background in customer success or support roles
- Upselling or sales experience (especially with warm leads)
- Experience delivering client training or webinars
- Background in Tier 1 firms (e.g., PwC, Deloitte)
- Familiarity with tools like Freshdesk or similar platforms
Compensation & Benefits
- 💰 $36,000 – $42,000 USD/year OTE (uncapped)
- 📈 Performance structure:
- ~2/3 base + 1/3 variable
- 100% OTE guaranteed (first 3 months)
- 80% OTE guaranteed (months 4–6)
