About the Role
We’re seeking a Director of AI Strategy & Implementation to define and execute the company’s AI vision end-to-end.
This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role where you’ll identify opportunities, build systems, and drive adoption of AI across Operations, Customer Service, Marketing, Sales, and internal workflows.
You’ll audit the current landscape, create a clear roadmap, and implement AI solutions that deliver measurable business impact and scalability.
What You’ll Do
- Own and lead the company-wide AI strategy, aligned with business goals and ROI
- Stay at the forefront of AI tools, vendors, and emerging technologies
- Define AI principles, including build vs. buy decisions and scalability standards
- Audit systems, workflows, and data to identify high-impact automation opportunities
- Design and implement AI solutions using a mix of off-the-shelf tools and custom integrations
- Partner with internal teams and external vendors to drive AI adoption across departments
- Establish KPIs and ROI metrics to measure success
- Ensure secure, ethical, and compliant use of AI across the organization
Requirements
Must-Have
- Proven experience leading AI, automation, or advanced technology initiatives
- Strong business judgment with a strategic, ROI-driven mindset
- Solid coding background (Python, JavaScript, or similar)
- Ability to architect systems and integrations end-to-end
- Hands-on experience with AI tools, APIs, and modern tech stacks
- Strong understanding of data pipelines and system architecture
- Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Nice to Have
- Experience in high-growth startups or scaling environments
- Ownership of an AI roadmap or transformation initiative
- Exposure to multiple AI ecosystems and vendor solutions
Compensation & Benefits
- 💰 $5,000 – $9,000 USD/month (based on experience)
- 🌍 100% remote (LATAM) – contractor model
