Our client is a nonprofit experience and technology innovator, dedicated to empowering mission-driven organizations. As their team grows, they’re seeking a Director of Client Growth to join their dynamic crew and help drive the success of their nonprofit partners.
About the Role
We’re looking for a strategic and results-driven Director of Client Growth to lead client success initiatives, maximize customer lifetime value, and drive revenue retention and expansion. Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will oversee a dedicated team and work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Customer Success to deliver outstanding client outcomes and hit ambitious net and gross revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
- Inspire, coach, and equip your team to achieve client growth goals and foster a high-performance, collaborative culture.
- Design and execute playbooks across the client journey.
- Provide hands-on engagement and coaching to support team development.
Revenue Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement strategies to drive top-tier renewal rates and revenue expansion.
- Use revenue modeling, forecasting, and attainment strategies to drive decisions and accountability.
- Collaborate across departments to launch initiatives that increase engagement, adoption, and retention.
- Deliver actionable customer insights using structured data and reporting.
Client Care & Growth Initiatives
- Enhance onboarding, adoption, and client education to maximize value from solutions.
- Identify expansion opportunities aligned with client goals and ROI.
- Continuously improve customer journey processes to boost satisfaction and loyalty.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Establish KPIs to measure team effectiveness and client satisfaction.
- Analyze client behavior, feedback, and engagement metrics to refine strategies.
- Share key customer insights with clear metrics and data support.
Strategic Planning
- Translate company goals into clear, actionable team plans.
- Dynamically adjust strategies to ensure targets are met.
Requirements
- 7+ years in account management or B2B digital sales.
- 4+ years in a leadership role managing teams of 4+ direct reports.
- Proven success in client retention, upselling, and revenue growth.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret usage data and assess account health.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience collaborating across Product, Marketing, and Sales teams.
- Comfortable managing accounts directly and handling high-volume portfolios (up to 200 accounts).
- Proactive, strategic thinker with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Familiarity with tools like Salesforce, ChurnZero, and Google Suite.
- Bonus: Experience in the nonprofit sector or interest in advancing to senior leadership.
- Availability to work Monday–Friday, between 8–10 AM and 6 PM CST.
